I am a lifelong resident of Pittsburgh and full-time real estate agent with RE/MAX Select Realty. I grew up in Hampton, and then moved to the west, south, and now the east of the city, where I live with my husband and two kids.
I have a Bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in Communications and Graphic Design. This led to a 15-year career in design, advertising, marketing and technology. I still use those skills every day in my real estate business by putting a creative mix of marketing ideas to work for my clients. I pride myself on my ability to look at how things have been done in the past and then find new ways to do them better.
I am a believer in the art of customer service so I work hard to return messages quickly, communicate with my clients, pay attention to the details and live up to my promises.
I am a strong user of technology to make your real estate transaction go smoothly, from providing electronic signing options for my clients, online transaction rooms with all your documents available to you at any time, automated feedback systems for your listed home and communicating with you in whatever method you are most comfortable with, text, email, phone or in-person.
In 2018 I was awarded the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation by the Council of Residential Specialists, the largest not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®. REALTORS® who receive the CRS Designation have completed advanced professional training and demonstrated outstanding professional achievement in residential real estate. Only 37,000 REALTORS® nationwide have earned the credential.
In addition to helping my customers find a home that fits their needs, I am dedicated to supporting the development of green and sustainable residential development (and green living) in Pittsburgh. I serve on the steering committee for ReEnergize Pittsburgh, a group trying to improve the energy efficiency of homes in Pittsburgh to reduce the burden of high utility bills and environmental impact in our community. As an Ecosociate™ and GREEN designee I’ve invested time into understanding the environmental aspect of real estate, and in turn can help my customers find homes that are better for their wallet, family, health and planet.
I served on the advisory panel for Allegheny County’s Housing Market Analysis project that will give the county a better overview of what is going on in all the various neighborhoods of our community. This will be an invaluable tool for community development, investors and home buyers in our area.
In my spare time you will find me outside, whether it’s mountain biking, skiing, road racing or triathlon. In 2013 I was the Cat 3 Women’s National Champion for mountain biking. I am a member of the Allegheny Cycling Association and a past Divisional Clinic Leader for the Professional Ski Instructors of America – Eastern Division.
I love real estate. From helping first-timers, or people relocating to our wonderful city, to actively marketing and guiding the sale of your home. I have lots of fun working with buyers and sellers, helping them move in or move on. But I know it’s a huge responsibility to be entrusted with your biggest investment, and I take that responsibility seriously.
