Ross Township is a sprawling suburban community adjacent to the northern border of the city of Pittsburgh. While most areas of the Township is residential, a strong retail corridor is located along McKnight Road, along with business districts on US Route 19 and Babcock Boulevard. Ross is attractive to buyers because of its easy access to the city from the Parkway North and the largest shopping district in the area, made up of two large regional malls and a multitude of other businesses. Ranch style homes are common in Ross Township, including many with a mid-century modern sensibility. The area can range from very affordable to pricey depending on the home. Proximity to North Park, a large county park located nearby is another driver of popularity for the area.
